VOICES from FARAWAY was a promenade performance specially devised for the 150th anniversary of the opening of Highgate East Cemetery. John Caird is a Trustee of the Friends of Highgate Cemetery, the charitable organisation that manages and conserves Highgate Cemetery, a grade I listed Park in the heart of North London.
The material, both spoken and musical, was chosen from the works of the cemetery’s incumbent souls or others closely associated with them.
